Good Morning to You

We're all in our places with sun-shiny faces,

And that is the way we start a new day.

When we first started having children, that is what they would hear in the morning at my dear mother-in-law's home. She couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, and years later I heard the real song which bore no resemblance whatever to the tune she sang, but the memory is sweet to all of us. In our own home, I would often sing it in a teasing way, as off key as I could make it, but the teasing had no malice in it. Where that memory come from, I have no idea. Probably out of one on those deep wrinkles up there.

It is Labor Day and I need to labor mightily on Geography. Have 2 videos with 4 lessons to complete before I go to the campus tomorrow. I also need to look over the Geology lesson. I can follow the video alot better if I know what direction the lesson is heading. I have read 2 of the John McPhee books that will be for bonuses and they are the biggest bunch of twaddle I've read in a long time, but he has a nice way of telling the 'story' which makes it easier to get through. I have some shocking thoughts on this class which I may express later. I think there are other kinds of pornography than just sexual.

I would sure like to hook up with some more internet classes that would fulfil my general degree requirements. I don't have to take some of the classes that give me concerns, but the generic American and English lit classes for Humanities and the World, American and English history classes for Social Science are not available at this campus right now. I would so like to stay here and not have to travel 40 miles to class.
