A feline saga
------------------------------------- Roni Rat and Trixie Cat are naughty as can be; They chase around and with a bound Go on a wrecking spree. And Trixie Cat (imagine that) though she seems small and frail, Will dodge and swerve (of all the nerve!) To catch old Roni's tail. The tail is caught! But if she thought so readily to win, Tyrone surmised she was a size He easily could pin. And oh! The yowls! For of his jowls she hold a great respect. But though not dense, her common sense She sometimes will neglect. So, dignified (though much surprised), Tyrone his paw does lift, And with a glance, she sees her chance And runs off sure and swift. Oh, free at last! The fright has passed, her nap can now begin. But ah, just look! Behind the nook! That tail--it twitched again!
