A new day

A new day-----------

Low clouds scudding across the morning sky, dark with the promise of rain. High above them, I see bright blue skies with more promises of a warm day to come. The fat grey clouds, like our salmon, rub their pregnant bellies on the mountain and I wonder where the damp spawn is falling with even more promises of a future harvest.

I love rain.
