A Real Valentine

Wont You Be Mine?

For God so loved J and M that he relocated two families from different parts of America to the most spectacular part of His creation. Then, because God loved J and M so much He made sure, through His mysterious and unfathomable ways, that those two unlikely families got to know each other and grew to love each other even before M was born. God asked those parents, Wont you be mine? And they answered, Yes!

God loved J and M so much that He hand-picked their parents to train them up in His discipline and instruction and love. J and M each got chased down by the love of Jesus and as the ocean of His grace enveloped them, they relented and stopped runningand rested in His hand. And God gently asked them, Wont you be mine? And they both said, Yes! And they chose to follow and enjoy their Creator.

Many times the enemy tried to destroy J. Satan tried to drown 12-year old J in the bay, but God said Its not his time. M is only 5 and I have many plans for them to enjoy each other, and He rescued him. Satan tried to kill him on the glacier and God said, Not today. He tried to maim him on the ski slope and God said, You cant touch any of my precious ones until it is their time. And today I say, No way.

God loved M so much that though J was many years older than she was, God ordained that this very eligible bachelor would wait for Gods girl. God loved M so much that he whispered her name early and took special care in shaping her and preparing her to be early matured to be Js perfect Girl. God loved them both so much that He brought them together in His perfect timing to be captured by each other.

God loved J and M so much that He gave them a deep passion for each other and a deep desire to grow in their love for each other and to pursue Himself. God loved them so much He gave them three beautiful Girls: S, J and K. Then He doubled their blessing by giving them three scrappy boys: C, T and J. And for their pleasure, God carefully designed lakes and creeks and cousins and beaches and friends and campfires and sticks and mud puddles.

And this family blossomed under His care. They loved life and they loved God and they loved each other. They blazed the trail for others in Family Togetherness. They were pioneers in the woods of Family Memories. They raced ahead of others in the pursuit of Gods pleasure. And God beamed. And one by one His amazing grace melted the hearts of the girls and when He asked them, Will you be mine? they each said, Yes! and they reached out for His gift of eternal life. And God laughed a deep belly laugh.this was fun. Not many families enjoyed Him as much as this one did.

And because of Adams sin, no person shall live forever on the earth. And God knows the number of each of our days.

One day, God said, I have taken great joy in the redemption of S, J and K through the blood of my precious Son, Jesus. The days of their earthly life have been accomplished and today they will be with me in Paradise. And Satan was given permission. And the enemy took the little plane and smashed and plunged it into the water, vainly hoping to violate Gods permission by taking J and M that day, too. But God said, Not today. Today they will go home for their boys. And because God loved J so much, He pulled M out of the airplane and through the water to set her up on the ice. And because God loved M so much He reached into the plane again, dozens of feet under water and pulled J up and set him on the ice beside her. And because God loved S, J and K so much He reached down into the plane, again, and pulled the girls out and raised them higher and higher to heaven and set them on His lap so He could love them and they could enjoy each other forever.

And God told J and M, I love you so much! I am sorry this will be so painful for you. And God wept with them. And God said, Know that I am with you. Reach out for Me. I am there. I am always there. I know your pain. Let me carry your burden of sorrow. Do not be deceived by the evil one. He will give you discouraging thoughts. Recognize them. Resist them. Replace those thoughts with My promises. Come to me. Run to me. I will carry you. Though some days will seem long and painful to you, remember that compared to eternity your remaining days on earth are merely a breath and then you will be re-united forever.

And God smiled on J, M, S, J, K, C, T and J that day. And He held the girls in one hand and the boys and their rescued parents in the other. And He wrapped His arms around them all and whispered peace and sweet confirmation into each of their hearts. Then God said, There are good days left on earth. Enjoy them fully with each other as you abide in Me. My Spirit is in you- I will never leave you. The girls are safe with me, now. They will never cry, again. They will never fear. They will never feel pain, again. I have prepared a wonderful place for them in My presence and we will always be perfectly satisfied with each other. Trust Me. Breathe deeply of My peace. Rest. You will see us, soon.

For God so loved the family that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

If you will humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, in His good time He will lift you up. Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you. Be careful- watch out for the attacks from Satan, your great enemy. He prowls around like a hungry lion, looking for some victim to tear apart. Stand firm when he attacks. Trust the Lord; and remember that other Christians all around the world are going through these sufferings, too. After you have suffered for a little while, our God, who is full of kindness through Christ, will give you His eternal glory. He personally will come and pick you up, and set you firmly in place, and make you stronger than ever. To Him be all power over all things, forever and ever. Amen (IPeter 5:6-11)
